1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using Flashevo at flashevo.com ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Service. These Terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who access or use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Flashevo is a free, web-based tool that uses artificial intelligence (Neural Engine AI) to generate educational flashcards from text input provided by users. The Service is provided free of charge and is intended for educational purposes only.

3. Acceptable Use Policy

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes. You must NOT use the Service to:

  • Generate content that is illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, or discriminatory
  • Paste and process confidential, proprietary, or personally identifiable information of others
  • Attempt to bypass, disable, or interfere with rate limiting or security features
  • Scrape, crawl, or use automated tools to generate flashcards at scale
  • Use the Service for commercial gain in ways that are competitive with Flashevo
  • Impersonate any person or entity or falsely claim affiliation with any person or entity
  • Violate any applicable local, national, or international laws or regulations
  • Upload or transmit viruses, malware, or any other harmful code

4. No Storage of User Data

We do not store your input text. Text you paste into the generator is sent to our Neural Engine AI for processing and is not retained on our servers. The generated flashcards are returned to your browser only. Browser-based history (your last 5 sets) is stored locally on your device using browser Local Storage and is never transmitted to our servers.

5. Educational Use Only

The Service is designed and intended for educational purposes, specifically to help students create study flashcards. While you may use the Service for personal, non-commercial educational activities, you may not resell, sublicense, or commercially exploit the generated content.

6. Disclaimer of AI Accuracy

IMPORTANT: Flashevo uses artificial intelligence to generate flashcards. While we strive to provide high-quality output, we make no representations or warranties, express or implied, about the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of AI-generated flashcard content.

  • The AI may occasionally generate incorrect, incomplete, or misleading information
  • Always verify important facts from authoritative sources (textbooks, teachers, official resources)
  • Do not rely solely on Flashevo flashcards for critical academic decisions
  • The quality of output depends on the quality and length of your input text

7. Intellectual Property

The Flashevo website, including its design, code, branding, and non-AI-generated content, is owned by Flashevo and protected by copyright and intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute our website content without permission.

Flashcards generated from YOUR text input are considered your content. We claim no ownership over the AI-generated flashcards derived from text you provide.

8. Rate Limiting

To ensure fair access for all users and prevent abuse, we implement rate limiting: a maximum of 10 flashcard generation requests per IP address per hour. Attempting to circumvent rate limiting through VPNs, proxies, or other means may result in your access being blocked.

9. Service Availability

We strive to maintain high availability but cannot guarantee uninterrupted access. The Service may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, updates, high load, or AI API limitations. We are not liable for any downtime or service interruptions.

10. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, FLASHEVO SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION, LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, RESULTING FROM YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICE.

11. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of significant changes by updating the date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
